Introduction of ARKit technology
ARKit is an augmented reality technology introduced by Apple in iOS 1 1. It can combine the virtual world with the real world so that users can see virtual objects in the real world. ARKit technology can achieve high-precision tracking and positioning through sensors such as camera, accelerometer and gyroscope of iPhone or iPad.
Ranging operation steps
1. Open the distance measurement application.
Apple's mobile phone comes with an application called "Measure", which can be used to measure the distance. When the application opens, it will automatically start the camera and display a white crosshair.
2. Determine the starting point of measurement
Align the calibration with the starting point of measurement, and then click the "+"button on the screen to fix the starting point. At this point, a blue dot will appear on the screen, indicating that the starting point of measurement has been determined.
3. Move the equipment to the measurement end point
Move the equipment to the measurement end point, and then click the "+"button on the screen to fix the end point. At this point, a red dot will appear on the screen, indicating that the measurement end point has been determined.
4. Check the measurement results
After the measurement is completed, the distance between two points will be displayed on the screen. In addition, the horizontal distance and vertical distance between two points will be displayed on the screen. If you need to measure again, you can click the "Clear" button to start again.
Matters needing attention
1. When measuring, keep the equipment stable and avoid shaking.
2. When measuring, you need to keep enough light to avoid measuring in the dark.
3. If you find that the points on the screen are inaccurate during the measurement, you can try to readjust the position of the equipment.
