Introduction to Yang Shenggang

Yang Shenggang, currently Vice President of Hunan University1; born in 1965 in Changde, Hunan, is an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. A leader in the direction of international finance and comparative finance, he holds a PhD in economics from Wuhan University, a postdoctoral fellow in finance from Xiamen University, and a visiting scholar at the Department of Economics at National Taiwan University. The first batch of leading talents in the “Ten Thousand Thousand Thousand People Plan” of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China2, a national-level teaching teacher, the chief expert of major projects of the National Social Science Fund3, and the first prize winner of Hunan Province Science and Technology Progress Award4.
