1997-2007 served as senior engineer, chief engineer, third-class scientist and fourth-class scientist of Singapore National Data Storage Institute.
In 2002, he was elected as Marquis's Who's Who in the World of Science and Technology and an academician of New York Academy of Sciences. He is a member of IEEE, OSA and SPIE.
2007-present: Professor and doctoral supervisor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan Optoelectronic National Laboratory.
Discipline and major: microelectronics and solid-state electronics, electronic science and technology, optical engineering.
Main research interests: phase change memory, memristor, magnetic storage, optical storage, etc.
In the past five years, it has undertaken a total of 15 scientific research projects, including national 863 major projects, 863 general projects, national international scientific and technological cooperation projects, national natural science foundation projects, key projects of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and sub-projects of major scientific and technological projects in Hubei Province. At present, more than 200 papers have been published, including more than 100 papers included in SCI. We applied for 12 international invention patents and 35 domestic patents.
