The artificial neural rehabilitation robot "Shen Gong No.1" developed by Tianjin University is the first "pure mind control" artificial neural robot system in the world. Compared with the brain-controlled mechanical exoskeleton unveiled at the World Cup, "Shen Gong I" can really realize the synchronous coupling of cerebral cortex and muscle activity, and realize the integration of body movement, thinking and behavior.
Composition structure:
The system includes six parts: non-invasive EEG sensing module, imaginary action feature detection module, movement intention identification module, instruction coding interface module, stimulation information conditioning module and stimulation current output module. The experiencer needs to wear an EEG detector with electrodes on his head and install electrodes on the muscles of the sick limb. Among them, "brain-computer interface" can read EEG information non-invasively, and can read people's thoughts more accurately without implanting chips in the brain or spinal cord.
Extended data:
Has 23 national invention patents:
The latest research results jointly developed by Tianjin University Neuroengineering Research Team and Tianjin People's Hospital will enable more patients with stroke paralysis to live independently again. This technology, which lasted for 10 years, is the national science and technology support plan of the National 863 Plan and the key support project of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Major breakthroughs have been made in key technologies such as information analysis and processing of compound imaginary movements, training and recognition of asynchronous brain-computer interface, synchronous coupling optimization of cortex-muscle activities, and extraction and screening of nonlinear features of post-stroke depression EEG, with 23 national invention patents and 654330 patents.
