1, Features and Advantages This degree program aims to cultivate applied and compound senior professionals for the sustainable development of fishery industry.
At present, there are five characteristic directions: aquaculture, aquatic animal genetics and breeding, aquatic animal nutrition and feed, protection and utilization of fishery resources, and prevention and treatment of aquatic animal diseases. In the past five years, the college has obtained 67 scientific research projects at or above the provincial level, with a total research funding of more than 50 million yuan.
Among them, National Science and Technology Major Sub-project 1 8, National Natural Science Foundation 18, 4 projects entrusted by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, 3 special projects for guiding scientific and technological innovation in Guangxi, 3 special funds for innovation-driven development in Guangxi, 3 key R&D projects in Guangxi and 30 natural science funds in Guangxi (including 5 key projects).
Obtained 43 horizontal projects with a total funding of more than 5.3 million yuan. He has published nearly 300 academic papers and 5 invention patents/kloc-0. Scientific research achievements won two second prizes at the autonomous region level and two third prizes at the autonomous region level.
2. Training of teachers and personnel
There are 65 full-time teachers in Ocean University, including Gao Zheng 13, 24 senior teachers and 48 doctors. 2 doctoral tutors and 27 master tutors; There are 2 specially invited experts in Guangxi, young scholars in Bagui Studies 1 person, and planning scholars in Qinzhou Seagull 1 person, who have won provincial awards for many times and have a strong faculty. At present, there are 49 graduate students majoring in fishery development in our school. In recent three years, we have jointly trained 5 doctoral students and 45 master students with Guangxi University, Shanghai Ocean University and Guilin University of Technology.
