The front suspension of BYD Han adopts McPherson independent suspension, and the rear suspension adopts multi-link independent suspension. Multi-link suspension and McPherson suspension are basically independent suspensions that are often encountered. The function of suspension is to connect the car body and the wheels. If there is suspension, the car can't run normally.

There are two kinds of suspension in cars: independent suspension and dependent suspension.

Independent suspension includes McPherson suspension, multi-link suspension, double wishbone suspension, double wishbone suspension and double ball joint suspension.

Dependent suspension includes torsion beam suspension and integral bridge suspension.

McPherson suspension is a kind of independent suspension with the simplest structure, lowest cost and most extensive application. McPherson suspension consists of an L-shaped adjusting arm.

The structure of multi-link suspension is complicated, which is improved on the basis of double wishbone suspension.

Multi-link suspension changes the two front forks of double wishbone suspension into independent links.

Multi-link suspension can improve the ground performance of wheels, thus improving the grip of wheels.

The grip is improved, and the handling and ride comfort of the car may also be improved.

Double wishbone suspension consists of left and right wishbones, and there is a connecting rod between the left and right wishbones.

Double wishbone suspension can restrain the roll amplitude of the car body and also restrain the brake nodding phenomenon.

Many luxury cars and supercars basically use double wishbone independent suspension.
