On July 22nd, 2006, EU Standardization Committee published four CEN bicycle safety standards: EN 14764 (city cars and station wagons), EN 14766 (mountain bikes), EN 1478 1 (racing cars) and EN/KLOC. According to EU Security Directive 200 1/95/EC, manufacturers must provide safe products to the market. The EU Safety Directive also stipulates that a product is considered safe if the manufacturer adopts EU standards for production and its safety performance level is covered by the above standards. A few days ago, some export enterprises were asked to provide corresponding inspection reports when delivering goods.
At present, five CEN bicycle standards have been put into practice, namely:
14764 (city and long-distance bike),
EN 14765 (stroller),
EN 17766 (mountain bike),
14781(racing car)
〈14872 (self-propelled car parts-car hook)
Atx is affordable and easy to operate. However, the representative model of the giant XC is obviously the SLR series, not atx.
