Development history of pallets

Pallet is a kind of horizontal platform equipment used for loading, stacking, handling and transporting goods and products as a unit load. It is generally made of wood, metal and fiberboard, which is convenient for loading, unloading and handling unit materials and small batches of materials. The types of pallets are mainly wood, plastic, metal and other materials. Now wood is the most widely used because it is cheap and strong. Plastic pallets are more expensive and have smaller load. However, with the progress of plastic pallet manufacturing technology, some plastic pallets with larger load have appeared, which are slowly replacing wooden pallets. Metal trays are durable, but they are easy to corrode and expensive.

In the computer, the tray usually refers to a small piece in the lower right corner of the program, that is, the "notification area", which plays the role of notification, reminder, memo and warning, allowing users to perform corresponding quick operations.

Plastic wooden pallet is a plastic-wood material produced by the most advanced patented technology in the world, which is assembled into trays and pads of various specifications and sizes. It combines the advantages of wooden pallets, plastic pallets and steel pallets, and basically abandons their shortcomings, but the price is lower than other pallets; The product has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, no deformation, no moisture absorption, no mildew, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, easy processing, low cost, recycling and no pollution.

Generally, the pallet used in the import and export process is 1 10*980*20(CM). If it is a wooden pallet, it must also be certified by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). According to Announcement No.4 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China in 2005, wooden packaged goods exported to the European Union, Canada, the United States, Australia and other countries since March 1 2005 should be stamped with IPPC special marks (except plywood, particleboard and fiberboard).

Compared with wooden pallets, it has the advantages of light weight, stability, beauty, good integrity, no nails and thorns, tasteless and nontoxic, acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, easy cleaning and disinfection, no decay, no combustion-supporting, no electrostatic sparks, recyclable and so on, and its service life is 5-7 times longer than that of wooden pallets. It is an important tool for modern transportation, packaging and storage, and an internationally stipulated necessary equipment for storage in food, aquatic products, medicine, chemical industry and other industries.
