Ai xing's main achievements

China's first manual of cutting parameters, edited by chief editor, was revised twice and reprinted in 1985 and 1994 respectively, which has been widely used in China. Since the 1970s, in view of the low machining efficiency and the difficulty in machining many difficult-to-machine materials in China, the theory of high-speed cutting and the tool materials used in it have been deeply studied, and the cutting science and ceramic materials science based on cutting reliability have been first integrated at home and abroad.

Mainly includes:

1, the theory of ceramic tool breakage is established;

2. Based on the wear mechanism and mechanical and physical properties of ceramic tool materials, the wear prediction theory of ceramic tool is established.

3. The relationship model and composition optimization model of ceramic tool material composition, process parameters, mechanical and physical properties and cutting reliability are established.

4. The reliability evaluation method of ceramic tools is put forward. 5. The theory of high-speed hard cutting of ceramic tools is established, including chip formation mechanism, cutting force, cutting temperature and machining surface quality model. Professor Ai Xing has long been committed to the theoretical and technical research and application in the field of machining engineering, such as cutting and tool materials, superhard material processing, complex curved surface processing and gear tooth dynamic deformation measurement. He is one of the pioneers in the field of cutting research in China. In 1950s and 1960s, we mainly studied high-speed cutting, high-feed cutting, hole machining technology, cutting fluid and cutting performance of ceramic tools. Aiming at the difficult problem of machining the deep taper hole of the rotor shaft of the electric spindle at that time, the special reamer and cutting fluid were successfully developed, which solved the major key technologies and ensured the timely export of the products, which was commended by the Ministry of Textile. One of the pioneers in the field of cutting research in China, he initiated a new theoretical system for the research and design of ceramic tools integrating cutting and ceramics, and successfully developed six kinds of ceramic tools, three of which were the first in the world. The theory and technology of ultrasonic and intermittent grinding-gap pulse discharge compound machining are established, and the special DC power supply and grinding wheel are developed, and the special CNC machine tool is developed. The theory of complex surface decomposition and reconstruction is proposed, and the corresponding software system is developed. The research results have been widely popularized and applied, creating great economic and social benefits.

Won the national invention award and provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress award 10, the national excellent teaching achievement award 1, the national and ministerial level excellent teaching material award 1, and 7 patents. He has published more than 360 papers and 9 textbooks and books.
