Phosphating coated steel wire rope produced by patented technology gives priority to manganese series or zinc-manganese series phosphating. Compared with the production process of smooth steel wire rope, only the wear-resistant phosphating treatment process of steel wire is added, which greatly improves the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel wire surface after phosphating. Phosphated steel wire is used to directly twist steel wire rope (steel wire is not pulled after phosphating). At present, the fatigue test data show that the fatigue life of phosphating coated steel wire rope is about 3-4 times that of smooth steel wire rope with the same structure and 2-3 times that of imported steel wire rope (under comparable conditions in laboratory). With the research of wear-resistant phosphating formula, it is still possible to improve it greatly. Manganese phosphating is wear-resistant phosphating, which can completely solve the wear problem of steel wire rope in use.
Judging from the current situation of wire rope market, the price of manganese phosphating coated wire rope is higher than that of smooth wire rope, and the extension of service life is much higher than the price increase. Therefore, the average daily use cost of phosphating coated steel wire rope is only about 30% of that of smooth steel wire rope, with lower daily use cost and higher cost performance and quality stability. It is an upgraded product of smooth steel wire rope. Wire ropes commonly used in lifting equipment include phosphating coated wire ropes, galvanized wire ropes and stainless steel wire ropes, which are used in atmospheric environment. Manganese phosphating coated steel wire rope produced by patented technology has the longest service life, and hot dip galvanized-phosphating double coated steel wire rope is preferred in heavy corrosive environment.
