Do I need an ID card to apply for a patent?

An individual patent application requires an ID number, and an enterprise patent application requires an organization code.

There are two ways to apply for an individual patent: (1) When I submit an application to the State Information Bureau, I need to send a copy of my ID card and other materials to the State Information Bureau; (2) I submit an application through a patent agency, and I don't need a copy of my ID card. I just need to sign an agency contract and a power of attorney.
