Guangdong Intellectual Property Office has internal organs.

According to the above responsibilities, the Provincial Intellectual Property Office has six internal organs:

(1) Office (personnel) room (co-located with supervision room, discipline inspection team and Party committee office).

Responsible for the daily work of messages, meetings, confidential, archives and other organs; To undertake information, security, confidentiality, letters and visits, open government affairs, agency finance, internal audit and state-owned assets management; Responsible for personnel management, organization establishment, labor wages, supervision, discipline inspection, party-mass service and retirees' work of organs and directly affiliated units.

(2) Policy and Regulation Department.

To draft relevant local laws, regulations and policy measures; Review important manuscripts; To undertake and guide relevant administrative litigation and administrative reconsideration; Responsible for guiding administration according to law and popularizing law; Guiding patent intermediaries; Preliminary examination of the establishment of a patent agency.

(3) Planning and Development Office.

To undertake the related work of promoting high-level intellectual property strategic cooperation; Take the lead in drafting and coordinating the implementation of intellectual property development plans and annual plans; Formulate the development plan of patent work and organize its implementation; In conjunction with the relevant departments to manage the special funds for intellectual property rights in the province; To undertake the organization and implementation of patent preferential policies and measures; Promote the establishment of an intellectual property statistics and evaluation system; Guide the information construction of intellectual property rights in cities and counties.

(4) Coordination and Cooperation Office.

To organize and coordinate the protection of intellectual property rights in the province, and promote the creation, application, protection and management system of intellectual property rights; To undertake the related work of coordinating, coordinating and guiding the implementation of intellectual property strategy; To guide and coordinate the intellectual property work in cities and counties; Take the lead in carrying out external liaison, cooperation and exchange activities of intellectual property rights; Coordinate foreign-related intellectual property affairs and participate in foreign-related intellectual property negotiations.

(5) Industrial Revitalization Office.

Take the lead in establishing a special review system for intellectual property rights in major economic activities, promote relevant work, and review and supervise patent work; To guide and coordinate the patent work of enterprises and institutions; To undertake the relevant work of organizing the establishment of an early warning mechanism for intellectual property rights; Take the lead in coordinating the standardization and management of the intellectual property trading market; Guide and standardize the evaluation of intangible assets of intellectual property rights in conjunction with relevant departments.

(6) law enforcement and supervision departments.

Take the lead in establishing an intellectual property law enforcement cooperation mechanism; Organize patent administrative law enforcement and market supervision and management, handle and mediate patent disputes according to law, and investigate and deal with patent violations; Organize the establishment of intellectual property protection assistance and foreign-related response mechanisms.
