Ballastless track refers to the track structure that replaces granular gravel ballast bed with concrete, asphalt mixture and other integral foundations. Sleepers themselves are concrete, and the roadbed does not need gravel. Rails and sleepers are directly laid on the concrete roadbed. Ballastless track is an advanced track technology in the world today, which can reduce maintenance, prevent dust and beautify the environment, and the train speed can reach more than 200 kilometers per hour.
Extended data:
In order to meet the needs of ballastless track maintenance during the operation of high-speed railway, the Fourth Railway Bureau of China Railway, guided by science and technology, made a pre-research and feasibility analysis on the related technologies of "Research on Key Technologies of Ballastless Track Bed Maintenance and Its Special Complete Equipment" in 2008 by means of independent research and development, introduction, digestion, absorption and innovation, and Industry-University-Research combination.
On the basis of collecting the basic information of ballastless track diseases at home and abroad, through a large number of indoor and field simulation tests, the maintenance materials, equipment and complete sets of technologies for ballastless track filling layer are developed, which have the design and production capacity of corresponding materials and maintenance supporting equipment, and form a complete set of maintenance technologies for different plates, different damage forms, different degrees and different parts. Among them, 5 patents were obtained for materials and 4 patents for equipment, which filled the domestic blank.
