Huludao belongs to Huludao, Liaoning Province. Originally called Jinxi, it is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Province and a port city on the Bohai wing of Liaoning coastal economic belt. It is located in the southwest of Northeast China and the western coast of Liaoning. Its central geographical orientation is 12 38' east longitude and 4 56' north latitude. It is adjacent to Jinzhou in the east, Shanhaiguan in the west, Bohai Bay in the south, Chaoyang in the north and Dalian and Yingkou in the north.
