Why do liquefied gas cylinders frost?

Due to the evaporation of liquefied gas, the pressure in the bottle decreases, and the temperature in the bottle drops below 0 degrees, so it will frost. But with this phenomenon, the bottle pressure is often insufficient, so it is necessary to check whether there is gas accumulation at the mouth of the tank, and pay attention to safety!

Liquefied gas tank is a storage tank for storing liquefied gas. When there is liquefied gas in it, the pressure is very high, which may cause an explosion if it is not handled properly. The pressure of liquefied gas at 20 degrees Celsius is 0.8 MPa, and the pressure at 40 degrees Celsius can reach 1.59 MPa. The maximum pressure of liquefied gas cylinders is 2. 1 MPa. If the volume of liquefied gas is constant, the pressure will increase by 0.04 MPa every time the temperature rises 1 degree Celsius, so each cylinder can only hold 85%, and the liquefied gas tank is 14.5 kg. Don't heat the cylinder with warm water when it is empty, otherwise it will cause physical explosion. Therefore, LPG storage tanks must be produced or used by qualified manufacturers.

Storage method:

1, liquefied gas bottles shall not be stored in the living room and public places to prevent exposure to high temperature and scorching sun, and the environment shall not exceed 35℃;

2. Before ventilation, carefully check whether the sealing ring at the front end of the pressure reducing valve is in good condition. If it is lost, damaged or skewed, it should be reused with a good sealing ring. The distance between the gas tank and the cooker shall be 1- 1.5 meters, and the hose shall not pass through the floor or wall;

3. Where liquefied gas cylinders are used, the air should be circulated. It is forbidden to mix liquefied gas cylinders with electric furnaces and honeycomb briquettes. Liquefied gas storage tank

4. Always check the valve of the pressure reducer of liquefied gas cylinder to prevent leakage, and it is forbidden to be close to the heat source;

5. It is forbidden to guide the bottle by gravity indoors, which is easy to generate static electricity, and the spilled gas will burn and explode when it meets an open flame. It is forbidden to pour liquefied gas residues into ditches, toilets, etc.

6, prevent collision in the process of transportation to avoid explosion, liquefied gas cylinders used for a period of time after the pressure test;

7. Brush soapy water on the valve interface, hose and cooker switch of the gas storage tank. If bubbles appear, it means that there is air leakage here. If leakage is found, it shall not be detected with open flame;

8. The elderly, the disabled, and the mentally ill had better not use liquefied gas, and the use of liquefied gas cylinders should follow the principle of first igniting and then opening the gas;

9. After the liquefied gas cylinder burns and explodes, put out the fire first and then turn off the gas, otherwise it will cause the temperature regulating tank or pipeline to explode. You can also cover the open flame with wet sacks and quilts, or put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
