DQ ice cream incident report

The raw materials are made in China.

In view of the fact that the "DQ Dairy Queen" ice cream exposed by Qingdao Metropolis Daily is actually "Baxi" brand ice cream, yesterday (August 3), the DQ headquarters of the United States authorized its China agent, Shanghai Shida Catering Management Co., Ltd., to send a statement to the National Business Daily, saying that the patented milk slurry of American Dairy Queen (ADQ) was made in China by a local authorized supplier, Beijing Ailaifaxi Food Co., Ltd. (the main product was "Baxi"), and the formula contained high quality.

The statement stressed that DQ has a patented formula for milk slurry, which can only be used to manufacture DairyQueen products and cannot be sold to stores other than those authorized by DairyQueen. Beijing Ailaifaxi Food Co., Ltd. is not authorized to produce DairyQueen milk slurry for any place other than the authorized store of DairyQueen.

At the same time, the statement acknowledged that the jam used in DQ China Store was produced by Tianjin Eclipse Tianfu Food Co., Ltd. according to the specifications and standards of DQ in the United States.

Do not emphasize import.

On August 2nd, 2065438+0/KLOC-0, Shanghai Shida Catering Management Co., Ltd., which is in charge of the business of "DQ Dairy Queen" in East China, confirmed that ice cream milk did come from a manufacturer in Beijing, but the company never emphasized that the raw materials of ice cream were "imported". Whether jam was imported or not will be explained in the statement issued by Midea on August 3rd.
