It is the source of sugarcane breeding in China, the leader of sugarcane sugar refining and bioenergy technology, the most authoritative testing institution in sugarcane sugar refining industry, the cradle of sugarcane sugar refining technology innovation and talents, the international sugarcane sugar refining technology exchange and training center and the main technical support unit for foreign aid.
The research institute has achieved more than 360 scientific and technological achievements, including national, provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards 1 18, and more than 28 national invention patents.
