Master's degree requirements of China Ocean University

1. Doctoral students in science, engineering, agriculture and medicine should at least publish 2 or more academic papers (including 2 papers) by the first author in the academic journals of important core academic journals recognized by China Ocean University, of which at least 1 paper is included in the SCI or EI retrieval system. The first author engaged in applied research should formally publish at least 1 academic paper (including 1 article) in the academic journal of China Ocean University, and provide 1 article (including 1 article) authorized by the state. Or the computer software with national registered copyright (the third-party software evaluation agency recognized by CNCA conducts software evaluation and issues a software evaluation report), or the achievements won at or above the provincial or ministerial level (or passed the appraisal), which is enough to explain the achievement level of the dissertation. Graduate students should be the first person to complete the service invention patent, computer software with national registered copyright, appraisal or acceptance results. 2. Doctoral students in humanities and social sciences should publish two or more academic papers (including two) by the first author in "Important Core Academic Journals Recognized by China Ocean University", or publish 1 monograph by the first author, or publish two monographs (each with more than 50,000 words). In order to encourage academic research to serve social and local economic construction, if the results of doctoral dissertations are adopted by the government (proof of adoption by the government at or above the municipal level is required), and if 1 academic papers are officially published in an important core academic journal recognized by China Ocean University, it is also considered as qualified.
