Do Americans need to provide ID cards when applying for patents?

Applying for a patent in the United States should be treated differently according to different patent types.

Application for a patent for invention:

File an application for a patent for invention in the United States within the prescribed time limit (where priority is claimed, it shall be within 12 months of the previous application); Those who enter through PCT shall file a patent application request within 30 months from the priority date (if there is no priority date, it shall be regarded as the application date);

The name, address, postal code, identity card or passport of the applicant;

Domestic application number (within the priority period) or technical disclosure.

Application for patent for design:

Design pictures or photographs: stereoscopic view and six-sided view. The dimensions of the six views must be the same, and reference views should be provided if necessary (note: the required pictures are line drawings).
