Tang's scientific research achievements

I have been engaged in the research of concrete engineering life for a long time. The alkali-aggregate reaction, an important subject affecting the life of concrete engineering, is systematically studied. The established rapid method has been set as the standard of France and China, and the alkali activity of aggregate has been identified for many large-scale concrete projects, and a reliable construction scheme has been put forward. The developed fast measuring instrument has been applied. In recent years, examples of large concrete projects damaged by alkali-aggregate reaction have been found in Beijing, Tianjin and other places, which have attracted the attention of relevant departments. The expansion mechanism of alkali carbonate reaction and the classification of alkali aggregate reaction have always been concerned by international experts. The research on the microstructure of nuclear waste residue treated with cement, magnesium oxide expansive cement for dam and steel slag has achieved results in theory, production and application.

It has won national and provincial awards for many times, and the "alkali-aggregate reaction" won the second prize of National Natural Science 1987. Published more than 300 academic papers. The research on alkali-aggregate reaction won 1978 National Science Conference Award, 1987 National Natural Science Award, 1990 Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award and 1992 State Education Commission Award respectively. In teaching, more than 20 master students and doctoral students have been trained with a rigorous scientific attitude and a high sense of responsibility. For his outstanding contribution to teaching and scientific research, 1986 was awarded as a young and middle-aged national expert with outstanding contributions, 1990 was awarded as an advanced scientific and technological worker in national colleges and universities, enjoying special government allowance, and 1995 was awarded as an outstanding academic leader in Jiangsu province. "Alkali-aggregate reaction" won the second prize of National Natural Science and the prize of National Science Conference. The reaction between calcium hydroxide and alkali silicic acid, the relationship between the composition structure and properties of low porosity cementitious materials, the intelligent system to prevent alkali-aggregate reaction in concrete engineering, the research on high-performance low-alkali concrete, the theory of alkali-aggregate reaction and its engineering application, the research on solidification of alkali slag cement with high-level radioactive waste liquid, the causes and prevention of corrosion damage of airport cement concrete pavement, etc. More than 280 Chinese and English papers have been published. 10 identification result. The rapid tester for alkali activity of sand and gravel won the national patent. "Rapid Detection Method of Alkali Activity of Sandstone" is listed as the national standard. Advanced scientific and technological workers in colleges and universities nationwide, advanced scientific and technological workers in the State Building Materials Industry Administration, model workers in Jiangsu Province, outstanding graduate tutors in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province, and national-level young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions were awarded special government allowances by the State Council.
