Is it difficult for graduate students to find jobs?

It's hard to say. It is difficult for graduate students in ordinary universities to find good jobs after graduation. At the same time, we can't simply think that it's easy for graduate students from double first-class universities to find jobs after graduation, because employment is not simply a fight with universities, and the quality of work is not determined by universities.

Specific analysis of specific problems, but generally can not ignore the following factors:

First, different majors have different employment difficulties.

Although the graduate students in ordinary colleges and universities do not seem to have an advantage in school grade, and they also face discrimination from some enterprises to some extent, this does not mean that these graduate students are not good at employment, but are very popular with their majors.

For example, graduate students from East China Jiaotong University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Dalian Jiaotong University and other ordinary universities, especially those in science and engineering such as civil engineering and mechanical engineering, are very easy to find jobs, and even their employment units are the employment units of graduates from double-class universities like Beijing Jiaotong University.

Of course, it is inevitable that many graduate students in ordinary colleges and universities are really hard to find jobs, but this is caused by professional reasons, not the grades of colleges and universities.

Second, every graduate student has a different orientation for good employment.

Some graduate students think that only a monthly salary of more than 10,000 yuan is a good job, some graduate students think that only an annual salary is a good job, and some graduate students think that a monthly salary of more than 5,000 yuan is a good job.

Then different demands will inevitably lead to different employment pressures. The higher the requirements, the harder it is for graduate students to find jobs, even if they are in a double-class university, let alone an ordinary university. The lower the requirements, the less pressure on employment, and the easier it is to find a job.

Graduate students' achievements in three years also determine employment:

First, whether you have published SCI papers or CSSCI papers, what important topics you have participated in, and whether you have your own patents. These are all auxiliary factors that affect employment.

Second, the cultivation of personal comprehensive ability, which is difficult for most graduate students to achieve, requires each graduate student not only to have scientific research results, but also to cultivate their own qualities and abilities. Only in this way can they gain the appreciation of HR in the interview.
