What are the characteristics of patent right?

Patent right is an intangible property right, which has the following main characteristics: (1) exclusivity, also known as monopoly or exclusivity. The patent right belongs to the exclusive owner, and the patentee has the right to possess, use, benefit and dispose of the object of his right (i.e. invention and creation). (2) Timeliness means that the patent right has a certain period of time, that is, the protection period stipulated by law, and it will be terminated at the expiration of the period. (3) It is regional, that is, the space limitation of patent right. In which country or region an invention is patented, it will be protected, while other countries and regions will not.
