China National Intellectual Property Administration (China National Intellectual Property Administration), formerly known as People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Patent Office (hereinafter referred to as China Patent Office). 1998 institutional reform in the State Council, China patent office changed its name to China National Intellectual Property Administration, becoming an institution directly under the State Council. China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office is a subsidiary of China National Intellectual Property Administration. China National Intellectual Property Administration entrusted the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office to be responsible for the acceptance, examination, reexamination and authorization of patent applications and the examination of requests for invalidation.
