In 2005, 4 high-tech projects were cultivated, 2 "Spark Plan" projects, 5 municipal science and technology plan projects, and 2 private enterprises were approved as municipal private science and technology enterprises.

In 2007, it applied for 1 National Spark Plan project and 23 provincial and municipal science and technology plan projects. Four soy products companies, including Bagongshan Soy Products Factory, obtained quality management system certification, and 7 varieties of soy products won the title of national green product.

In 2011, incentives for scientific and technological progress in Bagong Mountain were formulated and 11 scientific and technological projects were applied for throughout the year.

In 2012, Bagong Mountain District allocated 2.89 million yuan for three science and technology projects, introduced and promoted 25 new technologies and products, cultivated 2 municipal science popularization demonstration bases, arranged 5 science and technology projects, and applied for 76 patents pieces. The output value of high-tech industry is 230 million yuan. In 2005, we successfully took over the second batch of 7 schools handed over by the Mining Group, received 599 teachers, and invested 1.1 million yuan to build new teaching buildings for Kongji Primary School and Zhanglou Primary School. Rural teaching facilities and school conditions continue to improve. A new private school was opened.

In 2007, 3.6409 million yuan of funds were implemented to exempt the tuition and miscellaneous fees for the nine-year compulsory education stage and the book fees for children from needy families to ensure the smooth development of compulsory education. The teaching building of the second primary school in the district was completed and put into use, and the teaching building of the seventh primary school in the district started construction. The district's primary and secondary track and field games were successfully held.

In 2010, there were 20 district-affiliated primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Bagongshan (excluding 3 municipal middle schools and 2 private schools), including 4 middle schools and 15 primary schools (7 rural primary schools) ); there are 1,080 teaching staff in primary and secondary schools; and 10,088 students. The enrollment rate of school-age children and adolescents is 100%, and the retention rate is 99%. Our district has won the first prize for the reform of the compulsory education funding guarantee mechanism, the advanced unit in Huainan City’s education main work target management assessment, the advanced county in the construction and management of rural left-behind children’s homes, and the first prize for the reform of the compulsory education funding guarantee mechanism. The timely implementation of Heyibao matching funds, advanced units, primary and secondary school building safety engineering management assessment comprehensive awards, and many other honors. Kongji Primary School and other 6 schools passed the Huainan City Standardized School acceptance and were named Anhui Province; classic recitation typical base; District No. 1 Middle School Four units were awarded municipal-level civilized units, 22 schools received municipal-level commendations, and more than 30 teachers received provincial and municipal honorary titles.

In 2012, the 18,000-square-meter school building safety project in Bagong District was completed and put into use. 93.7% of district primary and secondary schools passed the standardized school acceptance. The Bagongshan Town Central Kindergarten was completed and the construction of the Shanwang Town Central Kindergarten started. The proportion of teachers’ housing provident fund deposits has been increased to 15%. In 2005, the district's cultural undertakings were prosperous and active, and mass sports activities were rich and colorful. Five projects in the district won gold medals at the Second Municipal Peasants' Games. Children's dance "Open Sesame" won the second prize in Anhui Province and the first prize in Huainan City in 2004.

In 2012, 3 farmhouses and 2 electronic reading rooms were built in Bagong Mountain District. The 16th Children's Art Festival, the "Sing of the Earth" culture into the community, the 2nd Community Art Festival and the 7th "Sunset Red" art show were held. "Tofu Chronicles" and "Bagongshan Yearbook" were published. In 2005, a total of 1.17 million yuan was invested to realize informatization of family planning work and control the natural population growth rate within 6‰.

In 2007, the construction of the grassroots public health service system was accelerated, and the construction of 4 street health service centers and 12 community health service stations was started. A new rural cooperative medical care implementation plan has been formulated, a district-level management center has been established, and preparations for the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical care are basically in place. Attaching great importance to people's livelihood, we conscientiously implemented 12 people's livelihood projects and 10 practical projects for the people, and raised 8.01 million yuan (including 1.21 million yuan of district matching funds) to ensure the smooth implementation of people's livelihood projects. Implementing the employment and re-employment policy, it is expected that 1,580 new urban jobs will be created throughout the year, 1,500 laid-off workers will be re-employed, 245 zero-employment families will receive poverty relief, and 149 new disabled people will be employed. 14,200 urban residents received medical insurance. Paying great attention to the lives of people in need, the support standard for rural five-guarantee households has been increased from an average of 850 yuan to 1,200 yuan per person per year, and all are distributed in a "one-card" manner; it is estimated that 83,000 people in the city will be guaranteed a minimum living standard throughout the year, and a subsistence allowance of 880 yuan will be distributed. In 2011, 86.07 million yuan was invested in people's livelihood projects.
