Song Xiaoyan's Academic Experience

He is also the director of China Stereology Society, deputy secretary-general of Materials Science Branch, director youth committee of chinese materials research society, member of China Photographic Professional Committee, member of International Phase Change Committee, member of American Materials Society, and editor of international journals such as J.CrystalGrowth and Int. J. Compu.Eng.Tech, and evaluation experts of international journals such as ScriptMater, MaterSciEng and ComputMaterSci.

It undertakes many courses for undergraduates, master students and doctoral students, and trains more than 20 graduate students (including graduate students). He presided over the establishment of long-term international cooperative relations with darmstadt University, FSU- Jena University and NIMS University. In 2004, he was selected as "Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star". In 2005, he was selected as the main researcher of "Academic Innovation Team of Beijing Institute of Administration" and the academic backbone of "Academic Innovation Team of Ministry of Education". In 2006, he was selected as "Outstanding Talents of the Ministry of Education in the New Century". He won the first prize of ministerial-level scientific and technological progress and the second prize of natural science, and won the first prize of "Outstanding Scientific and Technological Papers of Beijing Youth" in 2007. Obtained 12 national invention patents.

More than 200 SCI/EI papers have been published in important academic journals at home and abroad, and many of them have been published in internationally renowned journals such as AdvMater (impact factor IF 9. 107), NJP (IF 3.754), Actamater (IF 3.549) and nanotechnology (IF 3.037). He has been invited to participate in academic conferences at home and abroad for many times and made invited reports.

He has presided over more than 0/0 projects, including 2 National Natural Science Funds, Doctoral Program Fund of Ministry of Education, R&D Project of Beijing Science and Technology Plan, International Cooperation and Exchange Project, Talent Project of Ministry of Education, etc. His main research interests are metal-based nanomaterials, rare earth functional materials, ultrafine cemented carbide and computational materials science.
