In other words, not only hardware can't keep up, but also software can't keep up.

Especially AT gearbox, taking Shandong Shengrui as an example, its current AT gearbox has indeed overcome the production problems in a sense, but the biggest problem is that no strategic partner is willing to provide matching support in the downstream market. After all, it is only a gearbox manufacturer. Obviously, this company does not have enough experience in matching and debugging technology to do logical matching.

After all, a good gearbox should not only be reliable and durable, but also adapt to a variety of gearboxes, from natural inhalation to turbocharging, which requires a lot of experiments to ensure the perfection of gearbox.

The inability of the industry to provide technical support is the key to the failure of independent brands to overcome the AT gearbox problem as a whole.

As an enterprise, relying on the excellent supply chain system, the research and development of gearbox can be placed at the end of strategic planning. After all, many independent brands focus on product design.

Gearboxes can be purchased, and there is really no need to independently develop excellent technologies at your fingertips. Just like the four-wheel drive system, foreign patents are seriously blocked. It is not only difficult to make structural parts with independent intellectual property rights by bypassing the blockade, but also the cost level may not be more cost-effective than procurement.

Moreover, this kind of unreliable and unstable, whether the new technology independently developed can compete with the traditional established suppliers in stability is still unknown.

For independent brands, it is difficult to build a more reliable and stable AT gearbox without strong industrial chain support, which is also the key for all independent brands to purchase Aisin and ZF at the AT gearbox level.

Chery's purchase of Aisin gearbox is not necessarily a good thing.

In terms of rationality, Chery's brand-new engine has the characteristics of fast action and large torque, and it is at the forefront of power, but there is no excellent gearbox to adapt at present, so purchasing Aisin gearbox must be the best strategy.

Ensuring the comfort and interests of users is the key for enterprises to serve the user market. After all, Great Wall, Chang 'an, Geely, BYD and other enterprises are humbly asking foreign-funded enterprises about this issue. Although the exploration of technology knows no boundaries, it should not stop.

In my opinion, Chery's purchase of Aisin gearbox is an expedient measure for the industry. The key is that this enterprise should have the attitude and determination of self-strengthening technical standards.
