What's the difference between discovery patent and invention patent?

What is the difference between discovery and invention? Invention patent and discovery patent are different concepts. What is the difference between discovery and invention? Discovery refers to the discovery of objective laws that were not known before. Invention refers to the use of objective laws to create new artifacts. So, what can be called a patent? For discovery, it is only the understanding of things, the new discovery in objective laws, and the actual creation is basically not implemented, resulting in new things. Generally speaking, it does not meet the three characteristics of the patent. The difference between discovery and invention is limited by many reasons. For example, the law of buoyancy was discovered a long time ago, but I didn't expect it to be used for submarines, just for ships. One of the reasons was that there was no way to make materials resistant to deep seawater. There are many similar examples. Gunpowder is used to make fireworks, not guns and ammunition. You can find laws that are beyond the times, but the laws you find don't mean that you can use them to invent things immediately. Article 25 of the Patent Law shall not grant a patent right to the following items: (1) scientific discovery; (2) rules and methods of intellectual activities; (3) Methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases; (4) Species of animals and plants; (5) substances obtained by nuclear transformation; (six) the design of the pattern, color or the combination of the two. The production method of the products listed in Item (4) of the preceding paragraph may be granted a patent right in accordance with the provisions of this Law. Invention patents generally need to have the characteristics of novelty, practicality and creativity. If there is no relevant nature, then the Intellectual Property Office can refuse to adopt them regularly. There are three kinds of patents in China: invention patents, utility model patents and design patents, and there will be different patent technology reviews.
