2. The application of metal multilayer in X-ray optics is studied. A new design to increase the bandwidth of soft X-ray reflector is proposed.
3. With the help of Lorentz electron microscope and magneto-optical Kerr effect, the micro-magnetic structure of epitaxial iron film particles and its dependence on particle size, orientation and magnetization conditions are revealed for the first time in the world.
4. It is found and proved that in the Co/GaAs(00 1) epitaxial system, the stable phase of cobalt is a bi-directional hexagonal structure, rather than a body-centered structure as previously thought. The correlation between its magnetism and its structure is correctly explained.
5. For the Co/Cu( 1 10) epitaxial particle array system, the magnetic phase transition caused by the diffusion of epitaxial cobalt particles was observed for the first time. It is found that this system has controllable magnetic characteristics.
6. New thin film superconducting devices such as superconducting quantum interferometer (SQUID) and superconducting transition temperature sensor (TES) have been developed.
These research results have been read out at international conferences and published in international physics magazines such as Physical Review Letters and Physical Review. Some achievements have been patented.
