Copyright hooligan

Copyright hooligans have no rights in themselves. How can they sue others for compensation? This is incredible in law. More than ten years ago, I represented the copyright case. As the defendant's agent, I have repeatedly asked the plaintiff's copyright operation agency to show the proof of copyright or the author's authorization in court. The court never supported my request. As a copyright operation and management organization, it is obvious from its publicity that a considerable proportion of authors have not authorized them to manage copyright, so there must be some works that they have no right to sue and claim compensation.

A work embodies the author's knowledge and is the result of intellectual creation, so it deserves respect. Anyone who uses another person's work shall obtain permission from the copyright owner and pay corresponding remuneration. The law gives authors a "big stick" to crack down on the act of not respecting their own copyright and using their copyrighted works without authorization, which is the basic norm of civilized society. If you are not the copyright owner, without the authorization of the copyright owner, you can attack others with a "big stick" at will, which is hooliganism, without the blessing of God and the support of the law.

Although some people accuse "patent hooligans" of entrusting copyright to professional organizations and authorizing them to protect their rights, I quite agree with them. Taking copyright as a business is not prohibited by law. But since it must be legal, copyright operators must improve legal procedures and obtain legal authorization. Playing hooligans is not allowed. After all, they will be exposed to the sun and show their true colors, and will be criticized by public opinion and sanctioned by law.

All businesses should conform to business logic, balance the interests of themselves and the public, and realize the balance of interests. It comes down to the price. Any commodity has its pricing principle. The price of copyright is the right rent, and the pricing usually follows the quarterly principle, that is, a quarter of the income is used to pay the rent. Recently, because a photo let everyone find an outlet, groups of people were furious and got together to discuss. It seems that "the world is suffering in Ku Jin". The business model that blindly pursues the maximization of unilateral interests violates business logic and is unsustainable.

It is not difficult to curb "copyright hooligans". Judicial organs should abide by fair and just legal norms, and then solve the efficiency problem technically. Copyright has become a kind of business and a product of market economy. In business operation, we should abide by business logic and balance the interests of all parties. Awe the copyright system and abide by the market rules, which is the foundation of the prosperity of copyright business operation.
