How to use the advanced assisted flight function (APAS) of DJI Mavic Air?

The Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) system can help Mavic Air actively bypass obstacles in front and automatically plan its forward trajectory. In P mode, turn on the Advanced Assisted Flight (APAS) function switch on the image transmission interface. When the aircraft encounters an obstacle while moving forward, just push the pitch stick forward and the aircraft will automatically go around. If it exceeds the capability range, it will hover. Avoid obstacles.

The APAS function is not suitable for obstacles that are too small or spaces that are too narrow. It is recommended to use it in a reasonably open environment with good lighting conditions. After turning on the APAS switch, you can pay close attention to the App prompts to confirm whether the aircraft is currently in APAS operating mode.

The APAS function of Mavic Air can be turned off manually in the APP interface (there is a switch on the left side of the image transmission interface). At the same time, APAS will be turned off automatically when entering SPORT mode or flight mode only.
