What is a good office chair?

At present, the weight of office chairs in office furniture is getting heavier and heavier. Why? Because more and more people are concerned about the health and efficiency of office workers, a good office chair will correct employees' body shape and work in a sitting position, and with the progress of technology, sitting position will become the main working mode of future workers in China. Therefore, the design of office furniture and related sitting posture analysis have attracted more and more attention and research from ergonomics researchers and designers. 1. Research on office chair There is a contradiction between the pressure in human intervertebral disc and the load of muscles in different sitting positions. When sitting up straight, the body maintains an "S" shape, the spine maintains the most natural posture when standing, and the pressure in the intervertebral disc is small. However, due to the limitation of the "H" shape of the seat, people's muscle load increases. When sitting down, although the muscle load is reduced, the internal pressure of the intervertebral disc is also increased. This sitting posture will naturally bend the spine and increase the burden on the legs, waist and buttocks. Sitting for a long time will cause backache. 2. The emergence of modern kneeling 1977 The "BALANS" series of chairs designed by Norwegian designer Peter Obus Wick from the perspective of ergonomics broke the traditional sitting posture of human beings for thousands of years, and integrated the sitting posture of "sitting on the floor" and "sitting with your feet hanging" into one, creating a precedent for modern kneeling chairs. When kneeling, the human torso leans forward slightly, and the spine is closest to the natural state of the human spine when standing, thus effectively preventing the spine from bending. Because the weight is evenly distributed on the hips, thighs and knees, the blood circulation and nerve tissue are not excessively oppressed, which is helpful to improve the blood circulation and breathing of the human body. But the variability of the kneeling seat is not satisfactory. When users are working on the kneeling chair, they always keep a forward posture, so it is difficult to change their sitting posture to rest, and long-term use will also cause muscle fatigue of users. 3. Ergonomics principle-the study of sitting posture change shows that when we use a chair, the human body will feel comfortable because of the physiological and psychological characteristics. With the increase of sitting duration, people's perception will also change, and gradually produce fatigue perception. By judging and reacting to this individual's subjective state, the human body will automatically and unconsciously adjust the sitting posture to reduce the fatigue of the body. Simply put, even if people sit in a very comfortable office chair, they will cause muscle fatigue after a period of time. Therefore, the design of the seat must enable people to change their posture and position frequently to reduce muscle stress. 4. New office chair with changeable sitting posture Through the study of sitting posture, the design of office chair can break through the tradition. After my research, and obtained the national utility model patent, a new form of office chair appeared-the office chair with changeable sitting posture. When people sit on it, they can easily change the three States of human sitting posture: the use state of ordinary office chairs, the use state of kneeling chairs and the use state of reclining chairs. The change of sitting posture is beneficial to minimize the discomfort symptoms such as low back pain, neck and back fatigue caused by long-term work at work. This new office chair is especially suitable for people who sit in front of the computer and work for a long time.
