His current positions include Dean of the School of Bioengineering, Director of Shanghai Ahua Institute of Bioengineering, Deputy Leader of the National 863 High-Tech Program Marine Technology Expert Group, Shanghai’s 2007-2008 Science and Technology Development Focus Domain technology foresight expert. Taught Shanghai's top-quality biochemistry courses for undergraduates, animal cell culture courses for master's students, and bioreactor design and scale-up courses for doctoral students. He has guided 34 master's students and 20 doctoral students to graduate and obtain degrees, and 1 postdoctoral fellow After leaving the station, he is supervising 17 master students, 16 doctoral students, and 2 postdoctoral students. He has published more than 200 papers at home and abroad, including 68 in SCI, published two monographs, won 2 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, applied for 22 national invention patents and 1 US patent.
