It is planned to combine supersonic flight technology with rail transit technology through commercialization and marketization mode to develop a new generation of vehicles, using superconducting magnetic levitation technology and vacuum tubes.

According to the relevant person in charge of China Aerospace Science and Technology, the landing of the high-speed flight train project will be gradually realized according to the three-step strategy of maximum running speed 1 1,000 km/h, 2,000 km/h and 4,000 km/h: Step 1, build a regional intercity flight train transportation network through the transportation capacity of 1 1,000 km/h; Step 2, The third step is to build a "Belt and Road" flight train transportation network with a transportation capacity of 4,000 km/h, and finally form a new business card of China after aerospace, high-speed rail and nuclear power.

High-speed flying trains use superconducting magnetic levitation technology and vacuum pipes to realize supersonic "near-earth flight".

According to China Aerospace Science and Technology, compared with the traditional high-speed rail, the running speed of high-speed flying trains has increased by 10 times; Compared with the existing passenger plane, the speed is increased by five times, and the maximum speed can reach 4000 km/h, which is a great progress for human beings to pursue the speed of transportation.

It is understood that China Aerospace Science and Technology has rich practical experience and technical accumulation in the system engineering of major projects, and has the necessary simulation modeling and large-scale system test capabilities for major projects, as well as world-class supersonic aircraft design capabilities, which provides an important foundation for the construction of high-speed flight trains.

The person in charge of China Aerospace Science and Technology also revealed that the implementation of the high-speed flying train project focused on giving full play to the advantages of all aspects to build a national team, and joined more than 20 scientific research institutions at home and abroad to establish the first domestic international high-speed flying train industry alliance. At present, the team has more than 200 patents in related fields.

It is reported that China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation is the first group company in the world to propose a supersonic ground transportation system. At present, three companies in the world have announced the research on transportation systems above 1000km/h, including American HTT Company, Hyperloop One Company and China Aerospace Science and Industry Group Company.

The person in charge of China Aerospace Science and Technology said that the high-speed flying train not only shortens the time and space distance between cities, but also has many advantages, such as being unaffected by weather conditions, not consuming fossil energy, and being seamlessly connected with the urban subway, which is the development trend and technical commanding heights in the future transportation field.
