Benda’s first four-cylinder model, LF-01 Concept, was officially unveiled during the Chongqing Motorcycle Show. Although it still has the suffix of a “concept” car, car enthusiasts are already very enthusiastic about it. Because of its appearance, it ended the situation where Qianjiang Benelli was the only four-cylinder motorcycle manufacturer in China for many years. And judging from the state of the show car and the officially announced parameters, its degree of completion is already very high, and we shouldn’t have to wait too long for mass production and launch.

As early as July, Benda's new four-cylinder car was exposed to the appearance patent design drawings. After the actual car took the stage this time, it still left a deep impression on us. The overall style of the vehicle is quite sci-fi and crossover, especially the turbine-blade headlight shape. Combined with the "front ram air intake" in the parameter list, it is not just a lighting function. The rear wheel with a width of 310mm is also full of strong impact. The 240mm rear wheel of the Harley Breaker was already astonishing, and the Benda was even more exaggerated.

The body looks relatively slender from the side, with a wheelbase of 1720mm. The straight handlebars and seat cushions show its sporty setting. Similar ones can be found in the Harley Sportster series and the Ducati Big Devil S series. cross-border elements. The volume of the muscle fuel tank is not small, reaching 20L, and the aluminum alloy rear rocker arm is also very thick, but it does not use the currently popular single rocker arm structure and belt drive. The power part comes from an in-line four-cylinder water-cooled engine with an actual displacement of 680cc, matched with a six-speed gearbox, the maximum power is 72kw/12000rpm, the maximum torque is not announced, and an electronic speed limit is implemented at 180km. However, mass-produced versions generally pay more attention to stability and durability, and should be lower than this figure. The engine outline seems to be somewhat related to Honda CB650R, but it is unknown whether there is any origin.

After Benelli's "Huanglong", Qianjiang has derived "Chai" and "Sai", but the core essence is the same. The birth of Benda's 680cc four-cylinder engine has finally brought competition to the domestic market of the same level. It provides more choices for car enthusiasts and puts greater pressure on car manufacturers, prompting the emergence of faster new products.
