Main history

1918 - the predecessor of Baile Group Namiki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is established to manufacture and sell fountain pens.

1926 - Companies were established in London, New York, Shanghai and Singapore, and Baile ink became a best-seller in Japan.

1927 — The first mechanical pencil is manufactured and sold.

1938 - The company name was changed to PILOT Co., Ltd. The new company name used the English word PILOT, which is related to "ocean"; the Chinese explanation of PILOT is pilot, which is commonly used in marine disciplines. Word related.

1948 — The Nagoya ink factory and the Hiratsuka Factory were established and sales of stationery supplies began.

1950 — The Bailey Ink Company is established based on the ink factory in Nagoya.

1954 — Branch established in Brazil.

1960 — To expand the production of mechanical pencils, KIKO Co., Ltd. was established. (i.e. Baile Automatic Pencil Factory).

1961 — Began manufacturing and selling ballpoint pens and alloy steel. The stock is listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (total assets: 500 million yen).

1962 - The Hiratsuka General Plant was established, and the stock was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Osaka Stock Exchange (total assets: 800 million yen).

1964 - Started producing and selling printer ribbons; established Kanto Branch (became Eastern and Tokyo Sales Branch in 1986); established Hokkaido Branch (became Hokkaido Pak Lok Co., Ltd. in 1981 ); established Jiuzhou branch (became Jiuzhou Baile Co., Ltd. in 1972).

1999 — Founded the Swiss Pellet Pen Company.

2000 — Representative office established in Shanghai, China.

2001 — Founding of Europa Group.

2002 — Baile Holdings Group was established.

2003 - Baile Holdings Group merged with the previous Baile Group, and the merged name was Baile Group.

2004 — Baile Trading (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was established.
