Research direction Image processing and pattern recognition Yang Jie is currently the director of the Institute of Image Processing and Pattern Recognition of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. As the project leader, he has undertaken 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 3 National 863 High-tech Program projects, 3 973 Program sub-projects, 8 China-France-China-Japan-China-Korea-China-Singapore international cooperation projects, 1 major Shanghai project, and There are 5 municipal key projects, 1 National Economic and Trade Commission project, 1 Ministry of Education key project, and more than 30 other scientific research projects. 7 achievements won the second prize of China University Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Shanghai Excellent Invention Competition, etc., and 14 national invention patents were authorized.
