What kind of unit is China Council for the Promotion of International Trade?

CCPIT is a non-governmental foreign economic and trade organization, which is actually "half official and half people".

Beijing Branch is the local organization of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

The main duties of CCPIT are to carry out liaison work with economic and trade circles, business associations, other economic and trade delegations and relevant international organizations in various countries and regions of the world, invite and receive foreign economic and trade circles and representative groups to visit, organize China economic and trade delegations and entrepreneurs to visit and study abroad, and participate in relevant international organizations and activities; Representing the country in international exhibitions, hosting and participating in world expositions, hosting the China Fair and participating in international trade expositions abroad; Responsible for the centralized coordination, management and supervision of China's going abroad to hold economic and trade exhibitions or participate in international expositions. Arrange and receive foreign economic, trade or technical exhibitions held in China, and host international professional or comprehensive exhibitions; Handling international economic and trade and maritime arbitration affairs; Issue certificates of origin for China's export commodities; Accepting cases of adjustment of general average and particular average; Issue force majeure certificates, and issue and certify documents for foreign trade and maritime business; Issue relevant documents and provide guarantees for companies, enterprises or individuals engaged in temporary export activities abroad. Acting as an agent for trademark registration and patent application of China enterprises abroad or foreign companies and individuals in China, and handling consultation, disputes and technical trade related to industrial property rights and intellectual property rights.
