Operation mode
Find can help you locate the lost AirPods. If you set "Find My [Device]" on the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch used with AirPods, this function will also be automatically enabled for your AirPods. So, if you lose your AirPods, it is not in the charging box or somewhere nearby, you can use Find to find it again. If your AirPods are beyond the communication range of all devices and need to be charged, or in the AirPods charging box, Find can still help by showing the time and place of the last connection.
See your AirPods on the map.
Login? iCloud.com? Or use the Find application to view your AirPods on the map. Find can show the location of the Apple device that you logged in with the same Apple ID, and the location of AirPods. If these devices are not connected, the time and place when they were last online will be displayed.
on the computer
Going? ICloud.com. Sign in with your Apple ID. Open to find iPhone. Click all devices, and then click your AirPods.
On iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Open the find application. Select the Devices tab. Select your AirPods.
Below each device, you will see a location or a message saying "Location not found".
If your AirPods are separated from each other, you can only see one location on the map at a time. Find the AirPod you see on the map and put it in the charging box. Then, refresh the map and find another AirPod.
Play sound
If your AirPods is close to any Apple device and connected to Bluetooth, you can use? iCloud.com? Or "find" the App? Play sounds to help you find them. AirPods can play a louder and louder tone for two minutes, or you can stop playing the sound.
Open the find application. Select the Devices tab. Select your AirPods from the list. Tap Play Sound.
Before playing the sound, be sure to take the AirPods off your ears.
If AirPods goes offline,
If you didn't turn on the "Find My [Device]" function before AirPods was lost, you can't use this function to locate the device. If the message "Location Not Found" is displayed under AirPods, you can't find them by playing the sound, but you may see the route that AirPods finally connected. If AirPods comes back online, the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch used with AirPods will notify you.
Lost equipment can only be tracked or located by searching. No other Apple service can find, track or mark the location of your device for you.
If you are using an administrative Apple ID assigned to you by your school or institution, you do not have the access right to Find.
Replace the lost battery box or charging box.
