The scientific research strength of the School of Electrical and Control Engineering, Liaoning University of Engineering Technology

The institute currently has power electronics and electric transmission (the first batch to be awarded the right to confer a master's degree in engineering in 1981), control theory and control engineering (obtained the right to confer a master's degree in engineering in 1995), and electrical machinery and electrical appliances (2003 Obtained the right to confer a master's degree in engineering in 2005), Electrical Theory and New Technology (2005), Detection Technology and Automation Devices (2005), and 5 master's degree programs in electrical engineering (obtained the right to confer a master's degree in engineering in 2001).

The institute has successively undertaken dozens of major scientific research projects such as the National "863" Project, the National Science and Technology Research Project, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Huo Yingdong Education Fund, and has achieved a series of scientific research results, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has won more than 10 Science Awards and Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, 15 Science and Technology Progress Awards from the former Ministry of Coal and Energy, and more than 50 national patents. He has published more than 500 papers, 10 monographs, and 21 textbooks in important domestic and foreign academic journals. These research results have solved major problems existing in industrial production and have significant social and economic benefits. Some scientific research results are at the leading domestic and international levels.

In the reform of teaching content and curriculum system in higher education for the 21st century, the School of Electrical and Control Engineering took the lead in setting an example, comprehensively reforming the teaching content and curriculum system of the automation major, publishing 10 planned textbooks, and winning The second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award and the first prize of the Liaoning Province Teaching Achievement Award.

The School of Electrical and Control Engineering runs a school to meet the needs of society, focusing on students’ quality education, innovation ability and personality development, and strives to make students become outstanding talents with a solid foundation, broad knowledge, strong ability and high quality. . In the past three years, our students have won 8 awards in national competitions, more than 30 awards in provincial competitions, and students have applied for more than 20 patents.
