Dingxi Campus of Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dingxi Normal College) is a full-time ordinary college established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in April 2003. The school, formerly known as Dingxi Institute of Education, was founded in 1979, approved by Gansu Provincial People's Government 198 1, approved by the Ministry of Education 1984, and put on record in 1993. By the end of 20 16, the school has five teaching departments, offering 53 undergraduate majors (including this department 17 undergraduate majors). 20 13 Dingxi Health School was merged into Dingxi Normal University. In 20 14, the school was transferred to Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Dingxi Campus was established. 2065438+February 2005, Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was renamed Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Dingxi Campus of Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established. 20 16 became a university established by Gansu provincial government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. The school focuses on medical education, covering six disciplines: medicine, science, engineering, economics, management and teaching. It is the only university of traditional Chinese medicine in northwest China with the right to confer doctoral degrees.
