In the early stage, he was engaged in scientific and technological research on glass and ceramics. In 1997, he began to conduct research on the scientific and engineering technology of photocatalytic materials. In recent years, he has presided over more than a dozen basic theoretical research projects and horizontal applied technology research projects such as 973 projects, National Natural Science Foundation, key projects of the Ministry of Education, Provincial Natural Science Foundation (key) and Provincial Department of Education Fund (key), and participated in many Research on major national, provincial and military scientific and technological projects and photocatalytic engineering projects. He has published more than 40 scientific papers at home and abroad, and applied for nine national patents (4 of which have achieved industrialization).
