Lining material of electromagnetic flowmeter
Electromagnetic flowmeter, like fluorine-lined ball valve, has lining materials, and different lining materials have different characteristics and are suitable for different media.
The lining and electrode of electromagnetic flowmeter are in direct contact with the measured medium, and the lining material should be selected according to the corrosiveness and abrasiveness of the measured medium and the service temperature of the medium.
The lining materials of electromagnetic flowmeter mainly include neoprene, F-4, F40 and F46 fluoroplastics, polyurethane rubber and ceramic materials. The characteristics of specific differences are as follows:
Neoprene rubber is characterized by weak corrosion resistance and low price;
F-4 lining is characterized by good corrosion resistance, but poor wear resistance and poor adhesion, so it can not be used for negative pressure;
F40 and F46 fluoroplastics are characterized by good corrosion resistance and adhesion, and can be used for negative pressure.
Polyurethane rubber is characterized by some wear resistance but poor corrosion resistance;
Ceramic materials are characterized by good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, but ceramics are fragile, so special attention should be paid to prevent drastic temperature changes when using them;
Corrosiveness of some special media:
F-4 has good corrosion resistance, but it cannot be used in chlorine trifluoride, liquid oxygen and ozone at high temperature. F40 and F46 cannot be used in the above media, nor can they be used in fuming butyl lithium nitrate and other media.
