What is a China clarinet?

Clarinet generally refers to German clarinet and British clarinet which originated from abroad. Before China, there was no "China clarinet" in the strict sense, but there were many harps in China, such as Xiao and Hulusi. Xiao and Hulusi, on the other hand, don't have the timbre of a flute. Relatively speaking, the timbre of Xiao and Hulusi is more mellow and deep. The concept of "China clarinet" originated from the new musical instrument patent "Nie Yilin Shun Di" developed by Teacher Nie Yilin in 17, which was developed on the basis of the traditional flute, and changed the playing posture of the flute from horizontal blowing to vertical blowing. Although the flute was changed to vertical blowing, the playing technique, timbre and range can be realized, and the problem that the flute is difficult to play has also been solved. If what is defined as "China clarinet", I think it is "Nie Yilin playing the flute"!
