The ballpoint pen was invented by China, right?

China didn't invent it. The name ballpoint pen first appeared in 1888. It was an American journalist named John Lauder who designed a pen with a ball as the nib, but he failed to make it into a commodity convenient for people to use.

1June, 943, Biro and his brother George (chemist) applied to the European Patent Office for a new patent and produced the first commercial ballpoint pen-Biro ballpoint pen. Later, the British government purchased the right to use this patented ballpoint pen so that these ballpoint pens could be used by the crew of the Royal Air Force. Later, it was further improved and became a ballpoint pen now in use.
