Obstacle perception. This product has built-in two forward-looking sensors. Once an obstacle is found (15m ahead and10m below), Elf 4 will gradually slow down until hovering, and even choose a new route to bypass the obstacle, thus greatly reducing the collision probability of the aircraft.
Intelligent follow. This mainly corresponds to the newly added machine learning technology, so that Elf 4 can not only "see" the object, but also "remember", "recognize" and even "understand" it. DJI said that users only need to select the "smart follow" mode in the DJI Go application of iOS and Android, click on the following object, and the wizard 4 will automatically scan the objects in the field of view and start to follow.
Guide flight. Users only need to select the flight direction in the DJI Go application, and Elf 4 will calculate other reachable routes, avoid obstacles along the way and fly to the commanded direction automatically.
The maximum flight time is 28 minutes, and the maximum controllable distance is about 5 kilometers. The maximum speed is increased to 20m/s (72km/h). The integrated pan-tilt design improves the stability of flight and image. Indoor and outdoor accurate positioning, visual positioning distance increased to 10m. Elf 4 adopts 4K HD webcam, which has higher vertical resolution, more accurate level of detail, clearer, cleaner and more delicate display effect than 2 million pixels, and can effectively meet the monitoring requirements of high-definition image quality and complex lighting places.
