What should we pay attention to when exporting goods to the United States?

The precautions for exporting goods to the United States are as follows:

1. Before shipment, the exporter shall prepare the INVOICE,PACKING LIST, and customers who need to clear customs abroad shall provide the products. H.S.CODE, or provide the details of the goods, which will be confirmed by our company.

2. Before shipment, the forwarder must sign a power of attorney for customs clearance with the American importer (general trade).

3. The exporter should provide the information of the goods manufacturer, the final consignee and the importer to the freight forwarder in order to declare ISF.

4. If the exporter has no company in the United States, the company name and EIN number of the final consignee (such as the cooperative warehouse) shall be provided.

5. Our company confirms whether the consignee has an ANNUAL BOND according to the EIN number of the consignee. If not, we suggest the customer to choose an ANNUAL BOND or a SINGLE BOND for customs clearance according to the actual situation of the customer.

6. Customers exporting electronic products need to ensure that the products are free of false FCC,UL,CE and other logos. If there are logos, they need to provide certification certificates.

7. Customers exporting transportation products (such as motorcycle parts) need to ensure that the goods meet the DOT standard certification of the United States.

8. Customers who export food, medicine, care products and beauty products need to ensure that the goods meet the FDA certification.

9. If the products are exported with wooden products, or the products contain wooden components, the manufacturer shall provide the materials of the wooden products, and the components shall be used to declare LACEY ACT to USDA.

1. Exporters must not export the goods that are not licensed to the United States. Once they are detected by the United States Customs, the goods will be confiscated, and the Customs will continue to check the goods exported by the exporter to the United States. Customs inspection of goods not only delays delivery, but also generates hundreds of thousands of dollars in inspection fees for each inspection.

11. If FBA customers who export to the United States want to go by sea, it is recommended to send all the goods to a warehouse. The recommended warehouse is AZ 8543 in AZ.

12. FBA customers can purchase ANNUAL BOND as much as possible to save costs.

13. Customers who deliver goods to FBA must find a freight forwarder who has experience in operating FBA, otherwise it will lead to the failure of customs clearance abroad or AMAZON returning goods.

14. Goods exported to the United States cannot be packed in logs.

15. The US Customs stipulates that all goods and products exported from China should be marked MADE IN CHINA.
