This is a strange-looking design. There is a series of seats between the motorcycle and the car. It even has a futuristic steering wheel layout, which looks like it was detached from the plane!
This patent is a bit like the MWC-4 concept car displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show a few years ago. With this in mind, Yamaha may add electric drive to this model, although the exact installation location of the battery pack is still a mystery.
Just like a car manufacturer, Yamaha may plan to clamp the battery on the floor of the car, so that the center of gravity of the car will be kept low and the shell containing the battery can form a structural part of the machine chassis.
Moreover, Yamaha and Toyota have a long-term cooperative relationship. If this motorcycle hybrid is too big for motorcyclists, it may be released by Toyota as its own model.
At present, Yamaha's tilting inverted tricycle adopts LMW structure, while the four-wheeled MWC-4 adopts this structural design before and after, so it can complete tilting and bending actions.
For the pursuit of the excitement of corners and the safety of four wheels, this car can meet the above two requirements at the same time. No matter from which aspect, this crossover model is quite sci-fi.
