What did Bell invent?

Telephone, giant kite, hydrofoil, vacuum suit, etc. Alexander bell was a Scottish-born inventor, scientist and engineer. He is considered as the patent holder of the first practical telephone, and co-founded AT&T Company on 1885. Bell's father, grandfather and brother are all engaged in speech and language-related work, while his mother and wife are deaf-mute, which has a far-reaching impact on Bell's life and work. His research on listening and language prompted him to start experimenting with listening devices, and finally he obtained the first telephone patent in the United States on March 7, 1876. Bell's later years also involved many other inventions, including pioneering work in optical communication, hydrofoil and aviation. He also had a great influence on the National Geographic Society and its magazines, and served as the second chairman from 1898 to 1903. Besides his engineering work, Bell is also interested in emerging genetic science. His work in this field is called "/kloc-the most reliable and useful human genetics research put forward by the United States in the 9 th century"; In 2004, Bell was selected as "Top Ten Outstanding Canadians" in the "Greatest Canadians" contest organized by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
