The independent R&D departments owned by the company include Shanghai Enterprise Technology Center recognized by Shanghai, Postdoctoral Research Center approved by the state, and Shanghai Shield Design Experimental Research Center Co., Ltd. established by Industry-University-Research. These departments and units focus on the design and manufacturing technology of major engineering equipment shield and supporting products, the comprehensive construction technology of super-large diameter shield tunnel, the comprehensive construction technology of ultra-deep foundation pit and the environmental protection construction technology of rail transit in combination with major engineering projects with great technical difficulties and high construction risks in the market, industry and professional fields.
From 2005 to 2007, the company undertook 37 scientific research projects funded by scientific research funds at or above the provincial level, including 7 national 863 programs, 23 projects that have been accepted or appraised, and 0/4 projects under research. The company has nearly 70 supporting research sub-projects of scientific research projects at or above the provincial level, forming two advanced manufacturing technologies in the field of high-tech transformation of traditional industries and four technologies in the field of high-tech services.
A total of scientific research achievements 19 were transformed: "Domestic subway earth pressure balance shield" and "shield tail sealing grease" were awarded the title of national key new products, and "high-precision steel formwork for shield tunnel lining" was listed as a national torch plan project; "Application Technology of Ready-mixed Self-compacting Concrete" is listed as the application technology of the Ministry of Construction. The Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel built by our company belongs to the shield construction with the largest diameter (15.43m) and the longest driving mileage (7.5 km) in the world. The "Pioneer" shield machine independently designed and manufactured by the company has formed six highlights in design concept, core component innovation and control system integration. Its structure, function and cost performance reach and are superior to similar products in the world, which not only fills the domestic gap, but also meets the market demand. In the past three years, it has sold 4 1 set, covering Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wuhan and other cities, which has produced good social and economic benefits.
