Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in April 1993, and was approved as the first national economic and technological development zone in Henan Province in February 2000. At present, the planned control area starts from Longhai Railway in the north, reaches the airport expressway in the west, reaches Fushan Road in the south (about 1 km south of Min Zheng Expressway) and reaches Wansan Highway (new 107 national highway) in the east, with an area of 158.7 square kilometers.
It manages two county-level professional parks, namely Economic Development Zone and International Logistics Park, with 6 offices and 63 administrative villages (communities) (45 administrative villages and 18 communities), with a permanent and employed population of about 400,000. There are 590 enterprises above designated size, foreign-invested enterprises 106, enterprises with over 10 billion yuan 1 1 home, and 65 top 500 enterprises with investment in the region.
